Hi,

I use 800*600 pixel resolution, monitor is VA712

I think many start using higher resolution. My problem is when i go for higher resolution, the icons become too small, same for text and emails, reading small letter is difficult. How others are doing ? Do you make any change in font size, so text is shown big as in 800*600 pixel resolution ?

Thanks,

Yujin

For a 17" monitor unless you have impaired vision I wouldn't think 1024x768 would be too small... I have a 15" monitor and I have 1024 resolution and the size on everything is fine.

Yeah, if I ever get some extra cash I'll shell out for like a 20.1" so I can run 1600x1200 or a widescreen, but I'm not gonna upgrade to anything less than that.

Mine is 1600 x 1200, but only because it's my laptops native setting. I wouldn't have chosen that, but since it was native, it had the best clarity ...now i can't stand any lower resolution.

How can you fit that resolution on such a small screen? My max is 1024 on the 15".
