I remember the first contest this forum BOOMED but then quietly slid back down into the deep dark depths of low activity. I am wondering if this will be it's fate yet again. I absolutely love the EF2.0 and I don't want to see that happen again. I believe this is the next Site Point but better and would like to be a part of that.

What do you guys think, is it going to last this time around?

I think its been pretty active since its launch...

Sure every forum suffers highs and lows but overall I'd say the activity on this forum is great. During a launch obviously it is going to be more active than normally but that doesn't mean normally it is "in the depths."

I also dont think the activity got that 'low' but am sure that it will pickup again thanks to the competition

I only just signed up but i've heard of it from various different places, when there was a thread started on dp about other seo forums this was one of the first mentioned..

It was always active. Maybe not ridiculously retardedly active. But, if you came on the forums once a day you would find new posts in all the forums.

I have been relatively pleased with the amount of activity we have had here. I am glad we haven't been flooded with a bunch of spam and ill will so far.

This forum will stay active. It's really not even about the contests anymore. This forum has developed into a nice community, which keeps members coming back.

Microdude makes a good point. I don't really care about the prizes. I mean, they're nice, but right now, I don't need a contest sucking up all my time when I should focus on my sites. That's why I am not going GUNGHO on the contest. Good luck, though, to those that win!
