We see politics throughout our everyday lives. Whether it's in the workplace and trying to promote yourself as an essential employee, to what the Government is doing. Politics are everywhere and they can not be avoided.

There are many different types of governments around the world. Some work, and some don't. Sometimes dictatorship works, and sometimes democracy works. It's all about what makes people happy and keeps the country alive. The downside is more often then not, politics almost turns into a religious war. In the United States and Canada, Democracy rains supreme.

Democracy is supposed to be a realm where the PEOPLE decide what is going on, what is supposed to happen, and who speaks for us. It's also supposed to allow the people to speak out against bad governance. In the last 30 - 40 years it seems that some of this isn't taken as seriously as it should be. Whether or not that's the governing bodies fault, or the peoples fault remains to be seen.

The Your Political Earth blog and forum was created to give people the chance to speak, discuss and debate the different politics that affect their lives. We know there are other places you can go to do this, however we are taking an uncensored approach in hopes that people can talk about these subjects civilly without others intervening.

Please join us in discussing world matters: http://www.yourpoliticalearth.com and http://www.yourpoliticalearth.com/forum

An interesting topic no doubt but what on earth does it have to do with the forum you posted it to?

Thanks for the bump.

If anyone is interested in blogging about anything political (from politically influenced decisions companies make, to new laws that are coming into affect) I'll create them an account and will allow free reign over posting after one moderated blog. As long as it stays civil anyone who wants to can speak their minds. Censorship is not something we are after. Just let me know!
