Happy July 4th everyone! So whats everyone doing today?

I'm supposed to go to a friends BBQ at their house later today. They say there is an amazing firework show just across the street at the park. Should be fun.

Hanging out with family during the day (cookout) and then church tonight for more hanging out and fun.

Our township had the fireworks on Sunday night. >____>

But I may be going over to a friends house today to hang out, plans aren't finalized yet. Happy 4th everyone!

I'm sure my son and his friends will be occupying the pool later this evening. It's been hotter than **** here with overnight lows in the high 60s/low 70s, up over 100 during the day. So midnight swimming is a perfect thing to do. I have warned him that given the tinder-dry conditions in SoCal, the Fire Department will be watching for illegal fireworks so I don't want a bunch of kids in the back yard setting off bottle rockets.

Myself, I will be working interspersed with BBQ with the husband and pool time.

Just another day. Actually, it's the last day of my spring cleaning. I know that spring is over.

4th July doesn't mean a thing for us Canadians, even July 1st (Canadian's national holiday) is just another day off work to hang out and drink beer. At least in Quebec, I can't talk for the rest of the Canada.
