I wouldnt call him a douchebag as he does make some valid points. as with anything you have to deliver what you promise i stil think EF has great potential and will continue to grow. I think the issue is the full burst/tidal wave wasn't followed by a second one which is coming.

lol I can't say I've ever heard of Lee called the forum Jedi.

edit: And not everything he says is valid. For example he says EarnersForum offers nothing different from SP or DP, its in a completely different category of webmaster forums. Things will start to take off again around here.

You should actually read the post before calling him a douchebag. His post wasn't mean-spirited or lacking merit at all.

Good points and something aspiring forum admins need to read and take heed to.

The guy has some good points, I've never head of the other forum listed but I wouldn't say EF is giving up. I enjoy coming here and it looks like several others do as well.

He didn't exactly bash EF as a whole; he just pointed out a few things.

He can't even spell failure (look at the title), therefore he fails at life. I wouldn't necessarily call it a bash though, just a weak cry for attention.

I swear I keep all my abuses to extreme low levels, infact I don't abuse at all. But this guy just irritates me to the core ...

I dunno why, maybe it's just that gay avatar or something, but there's something about him that I dislike.

He wrote earlier on Eli's BlueHatSeo, Gay post, gay points and overall gay accusations. This he further went on with Wickedfire, still gay points and now with Earnersforum.

All this gaiety isn't gonna get him blog subscribers, but rather haters. His link baits are failures as well.

The time he spends on research on such topics, if he'd rather spend it on quality posts, atleast it'd make his blog worth reading ...

Am totally disguested by this freak ...no really.

I think he made one good point - What is UNIQUE about EarnersForum?

Don't get me wrong - I've been here for one day and already Love it, have learned from it, got helped, awesome community, and can't stop posting!

However, what is it that gives EF its spark, amongst sitepoint? Yes, it's a pioneer in the webmaster forum world, but I really like this design more, and the free flowing environment.

I think what needs to happen, is instead of having a new contest - introduce a new feature. Like, a EarnersBar - addon for firefox/internet explorer. I just made that up in my head in 3 seconds, so there is a hell load of posibilities - and definatly a mass load of potential is here.

Technically speaking, being new, I don't really notice this forum as dieng - ofcourse, I would say the vise versa probably if I was here a year ago.
