I love telling people how much I make from my websites, but now I might stop telling people how much I make - and try to focus on making even more money.

So, why do you tell people how much you make? Well, when I told people; I did it to show people how easy it is to make money on the web.

I usually do not disclose this sort of information...

People will treat you differently if they think you have money.
The same applies if they think you do not have money, also.

I hide my website income from my dad. I'm 20 and still live at home and he and I argue about money all the time. I figure if I hide my income then one day I can just move out and have him think I'll come crawling back when in fact I'll be fine. Right now I don't make enought between websites and my job to pay for college and living on my own though.

ditto, my friends have a general idea and my family knows.. But I don't like talking about it with most my friends since they are working 8-10 hrs a day hard labor, and I'm able to make more with a few hours of work sitting on my butt in front of the PC..lol

I don't usually say how much I make. If you have your own blog though, it can be a good way to get publicity. That's the main reason people share their (online) income, I think.

I'm with the others...don't see any point in disclosing such personal information, especially on the Internet. Besides, anyone can say anything and anything can be photoshopped, so how would you know who to believe, anyway?
