I have contributed in the WT forums as a webmaster for a long time now. I never mentioned my real profession. I am an artist...oil painter. I thought I would share a couple of my works. I hope you like them.

They are very good - you're a talented person. I like art - just as long as someone else is doing it

I guess I could call myself a webmistress, but that's not the real job right? Ok, I'm also a published writer, of magazines and a few books, but I'm not sure that counts either since I haven't made much money from it. Still waiting for the money to catch up to the fame. I tutor English to German 45 minutes a week at 11 euro a hour... does that count? Not really? Ok.. uhm.. then I'd say I'm a house wife.. and a really bad one at that. I keep waiting for someone to fire me. PLEASE FIRE ME!

*sigh*

Nice - your paintings are really beautiful. And I like the interesting distortion, though I'm curious why you use that theme as well

My real profession?

There's lots of terms for me, but Independent Business Consultant is probably the best. Maybe Contract Consultant. That's a lot to deal with development and management of people.

Okay, okay, so my Hunni is the boss, and I just do what she tells me. No questions asked.

Kline, I loved the paintings! That style of surrealism is tops!

Dave

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. My wife and I were talking about getting a website up for my art. I will have to start with a blog on blogger (because it's free) until I can afford a new site. We are expecting our second son any day now and money is extra tight...almost non-exsistant. I will post the blog url when it's ready if you want to see the rest of my works. Thanks all.
