Can anyone tell me why we cant upload animated avatars? I have a cool avatar thats on my other forums and sites. Thanks in advance.

There are 2 members on that page that have animated avatars.

There is a limit to the file size of the avatar and type of file it can be. You can see that in the section where you go to upload it. That may explain your problem.

Im my opinion, animated avatars would decrease the decency of the forum as static images look good and decent rather than those dancing ones. After all, this is a webmaster forum, not a general chat.

What would be bad are ones that are animated ads.
