It's 4AM here and I'm wide awake. I have to work at 9AM though, so I'm in trouble.

How many of you stay up way too late?!

suffering from insomnia as well and it is killing me. Even if I am tired and all, mr. sandman will still not visit me, not until the wee hours of the morning that is. I hate this but I don't wanna take pills or medications that helps you sleep or something, I don't wanna drink booze to sleep I might get drunk and wake up with a huge hangover, have no time for exercise so I guess thats a pass too. Guess I should just lower nicotine intake down.

I used to be a night owl, but years of getting up at 5 am for work cured it. It's really quite disgusting....I can't sleep passed 9 am even on the weekends anymore. I'll just be more tired the next day if I stay up too late.

I used to be literally nocturnal, due to being a 'night owl'; Sleeping from 9am - 6pm, then working all throughout the night.

Since I fixed my sleeping patterns, I've found I feel a hell of a lot better, and am far more productive than I am at night.

So those that are doing late nights and late mornings, I'd recommend sorting out your working hours.

I'm actually an around-the-clock owl. One week I sleep during the night and the next I sleep during the day.

It's annoying sometimes but, when you're awake during the night, it's calm and quiet, my favorite environment.

I would suggest a natural herb.

My son finds that chamomile tea before bed does wonders for him being able to sleep.

I like staying up late but I don't like sleeping in so I tend to not get enough sleep at night and take naps during the day.

I stay up too late EVERY night.

I love the evening and night. Screw the morning

I used to work at night and loved staying up all night on my nights off. When the sun came up I started thinking about bed.

I'm a night owl I would say - on non-college nights (about half of my week), I stay up till around 2AM and then wake up at about 10am It works for me I can't obviously stay up that late on college days though as I have to get up by 7AM latest (well I got up later one time recently and managed to get into the car within 10 minutes, but that was a one off!)

I don't consider it insomnia, per se - though when I do *have* to go to sleep (read: I don't want to but it's the "normal time"), it's difficult. I am also most productive late at night. Challenges, oh the challenges...
