...my flight leaves in 5 hours, and I haven't gone to bed yet. In any event, I'll be gone (and probably off of the forums) till at least the 23rd (unless I miss you guys SO much that I actually make time to post).
Don't have too much fun while I'm gone.

It's a long enough flight you can sleep right?

Tamar I saw via Twitter that you landed safe and sound in the heat and humidity and watched the stray horses.
Don't worry if you don't pop in during the week. Enjoy the vacation.

I am back! I went to Puerto Rico. I have many pictures but they're not uploaded yet. I also have a sunburn and a lot of bug bites. I actually thought about posting but didn't have enough time to use the internet.

Welcome back. Is it hard to be back in New York after spending time in Puerto Rico or are you happy to be home?

A little bit of both, really. Being in PR allowed me to avoid real work, which was nice. I did a bunch of fun things but it was incredibly hot!!! I'm still scratching everywhere.
I love being home, though, but I'd much rather have stayed in Puerto Rico for at least as long as my family was there (which is until Monday morning, I think). I took off for the Passover holiday, but I left mid-week because I'm obligated to go to the in-laws tomorrow. Ah well!

Yeah I usually have mixed feelings coming back from a vacation too. I'm guessing the obligation with the in-laws is a Cedar? Does your family have a big one or is it more the casual we just want to get together with the family type?

Naw, the seder isn't during the last days of Passover -- only the first days. We actually do have the whole thingy. The other holidays are the "we want to get together with the family" type.

My mom is having one tomorrow. More family gathering than anything else. Her aunt has always had the big one each year, but our family has never been a stickler on the time. Someone always has one the first couple of days, but this one is usually at the end.
My mom's doing it for the first time this year because of some family health issues keeping her aunt from putting it together.
