Wasn't quite sure where this would belong so I'll try here...I need help solving this riddle:

There are two buildings. The buildings are 5 centimeters apart. A man goes on top of one building and walks toward the other one. As he walks to the other building, he dies right after he leaves the first building. How did this happen?
