I got a waterproof bag and an eight food leash for my camera. I'll probably have to get a pelican case, but they're expensive ... and condensation isn't a problem until it gets warm out. It's a little harder to make photos from the water; hopefully I'll get the hang of it and bring a few good ones back.
When the weather clears, you can see the snow capped Olympic Mountains through the opening below the bridge in the second photo above, and occasionally some blue in the sky.
