There are a few fun games on here for numbers and the alphabet - thought I would try mixing the two.

Here's the game, you have to go up the alphabet from

letters go from a - z (any word you like)
count backwards from 26 to 1
the FOURTH letter of the word must contain the letter the number represents

1 2 3 4 .5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26
A B C D E F G H I .J ..K ..L ..M ..N .O P ..Q .R ..S .T ..U .V .W .X .Y ..Z

If it sounds like too much work for a game let it die a slow and painful death..

I will go first
start at A and 26...

letter A number 26
Arizona...

So if I said B and 2 the fourth letter would be B ( as in
Arabia

As the letters in the alphabet go up, the numbers count down from 26.

I started with A so the next letter would be B (1 up from A) then the letter would be 25 (1 down from 26). so the fourth letter would need to be Y.

I posted the letters underneath the numbers so people wouldn't have to bother counting the alphabet backwards

Its harder than it sounds cos the 1st and fourth letters are effectively chosen for you and you need to place a word around them - just thought it could get people thinking a little more
