Hi,

I had a problem with my website and was advised to clear my cookies. Ever since I have had all sorts of problems logging in to places, including the admin of my website. Is there any way to fix this ? I did a system restore and that did not work. My default browser is Firefox 2. I can access the admin via I.E. but would like to sort out my Firefox, because I prefer using it. Hope someone can help, it is driving me crazy, thanks, Mickmac

I don't know if it is with the cookies that your having problems with. I just tried it with my computer and I still can access the sites I need to. Providing that you know the url...

How exactly did you clear your cookies?? Maybe you deleted a file that you needed??

I would try to uninstall Firefox and reinstall it again. That might fix your problems

Hi, Thanks for the replies. I installed Firefox again but still having the same problem. I did not un-install it, just installed it again, thinking it would automatically remove the old version, is this the case ? If not should I go to "Add or remove programs" and remove it that way ? Thanks again for the help, would be lost with this forum, Mickmac

Yes, if I were you, I would completely uninstall it first. Like you said, go to add/remove programs, and remove it. Then install it fresh.

OK,

I removed Firefox 2, and downloaded Firefox 3. It seems to work well, can access my admin again anyway. Supposed to be a lot faster than earlier versions, but I cannot tell as my internet service is bad today, typical up here in the far north of Thailand.
Thanks a lot for the responses and good luck, Mickmac
