Hi,

I just bought a new laptop, and installed Firefox 3 and use it as my default browser.
When I click on links sometimes instead of going there immediately a message appears along the top of the screen saying "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page." There is a button at the far right of the message labelled " Allow ", and as soon as I click on that button I am taken the the desired page. Why is this happening ? It only happens on my new laptop, not my older one, which also has Firefox 3. And it only happens on some links, not all.
I also noticed another thing, sometimes when I try to go to a page I get this message: "Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading"
Is there a setting I can change to prevent this? Thank you, Mickmac

Did you check your pop up settings? You probably did but I just wanted to throw that in there just in case.

Hi, Thanks for the replies. I went into Tools-Options-Advanced-General and in the "Accessibility" section I noticed the box for "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page" was ticked. I removed the tick and now all is well. I guess it pays to read the fine print. Well, I am off to the Coding forum now to see if I can get some help with a mouse-over image coding problem.
Thanks again, Mickmac

well you can upload your bookmarks using social bookmarking sites and download it again. or you can also email it to your lap top. but I recommend that you just upload it in bookmarking sites so what ever PC/laptop you are using you would be able to access all of them

Another FireFox3 problem with ZA force field. If I select short toolbar in FireFox 3.0.3 there isn't anything to click on to return that same browser window back to the default (longer) toolbar as there is with IE. Selecting short toolbar in FireFox totally eliminates the toolbar. How do I know if force field is working when I select short toolbar in firefox? Thanks for any advice
