My question is how did one of the end users of a site know that I posted the same question (not word for word) under a different name over a year ago in the forum? Is he working for her?
When I asked him about it he avoided it and started calling me names? I have never met this person.
I can google my first and last name and find things I attached to it on Google from like 3 or four years back, seriously.
If you want to hide: go under a differant screen name from now on.
Don't make that name available on your myspace/facebook, etc. And you should be fine.
Consider what other kinds of info you may have available on the net, and go under differant names; or delete it if it's sensitive information from a few years back.
Tell her you're going to call the police if she keeps it up, and then just stop talking to her: stop giving her ANY attentionm at all- and that usually makes 'em stop, after a little time.

I agree. Some people can't avoid using real information on the internet. Web Designers, dentists, whatever. If you don't need to, however, don't. Don't use real birth dates, age, etc when asked if you don't need to.
well, aside from changing screen names, you may also want to change email address.create one that doesn't have any close relation to your name. or just don't use your name for your email add

Can anybody help me?
Nothing like being internet stalked. Change emails, passwords and names. Set your ex with a new beau and your problem will go away.

Sounds rough, I've had to change an IM handle before because some one wouldn't stop bugging me, that's the worst though. I don't see the point in changing emails, all you have to do is dont respond if the crazy person is sending you messages.
