I like both but, I guess I am more of a dog person. Well, both are sweet and caring but I like to be a little more active and playful, I have a pregnant dog at my parent's house-they don't allow pets in my building-and getting really excited about it.

Have had 2 dogs, but have had 5 cats over the course of my life. So going to vote cat person, if I ever end up with a nice backyard though I'm sure I'd get another dog.

I like dogs the best. One of my hobbies is training dog to guard.

Dogs are best. Cat's are self-centered, pointless, annoying creatures that do nothing admirable, nothing to endear themselves to you, they just eat, sleep, make noise, destroy furniture and then eat some more. Oh, and pester for more food 5 minutes after eating and while there's still food in their bowl. I do not like cats.

Honestly, I hate animals in general. They take too much energy to take care of, they make me sneeze, and they're just another thing I have to think about.

CAT PERSON !!
I like dogs, but prefer bigger dogs and I won't subject a big dog to a small confined space - they need a yard and I don't have one.

Oh... spoken like a true cat hater - totally clueless as to how SMART cats actually are

Boy you REALLY don't understand cats !! I think people like dogs because they are NOT independent creatures -- they want slavish behavior - probably like their women that way too.

I agree about the eat, sleep, eat some more, and beg for food even when there is food still in their bowl part!
But cats are pointless creatures!! They are loving, playful, cute creatures.
I think you might have had a bad cat experience....am I right???

A dog is still man's best friend. But the cat is the king of the jungle, or is that the lion
