Hi folks,
One of my frens is already got married 2yr back. But it was not propler marriage...what I meant to say is he is got married but it was not properly done. In his culture they have to arrange marriage ceromony in both the sides (Boy's home/girls's home). But the ceremony was done just in girl's home coz of financial problem. Both of them came back to workplace to earn money and they decided to arrange marriage ceromony in boy's home later in one yr. But unfortunately, they could not earn much money and had stay back for another one yr. Now both of them have earn sufficient money for their marriage. But I think it's too late to do such kinda thing. But they have to do. What's your suggestion? I suggest him to do grand 2nd marriage anniversary rather than doing marriage ceremony. Or what do you say/

Kindly reply

Traditionally, at least here, a renewal of vows ceremony can be done on an anniversary date. Then again, others who are legally wed by the court later have a wedding ceremony that's the religious ceremony.

It truly depends on the couples cultural traditions. My hubby and I were wed by a judge in his chambers with my Dad, Mom, Mother-in-law and best friend. On our 20th anniversary (5 more years) we are going to renew our vows & have a big party.

Well, what ever the couple's decision maybe, let them be. Whether they do it because of their culture or not do it because of financial reasons, as long as they are together and would love each other, I guess it would be enough for now. There are lots of time for their relationship to feast on celebrations like this. I have this relative who renews their vows and the ceremony is like marriage, also had some friends who had been married from a legal ceremony, then saved up for a few years then got married again in church...
