Hi.

Is it just me who sometimes when they see a thread know no point replying because the last poster would have posted the answer?

Im on about users which u know are an expert in the field the thread is about.

Just wondered.

Yeah. I notice one person that posts in the CSS and HTML forums who always gives excellent advice so many times, I won't even look at the thread.

Well, there are some threads where the answers are somewhat repeated by other members, may have the same ideas or gives the same answers. I don't really post much in other sections of this forum, I just read a lot in SEO section, and others.

sometimes i don't read other's answer and sometimes it's too late to change my answer because i post my answer first before reading theirs' and didn't know that i have the same answer with someone else..

Looks like you could use some holidays.

But, on Dan topic, yes, I have seen it for sometimes.
I've setup the forum to have the thread where I have posted 1 reply at least to appears in my user panel, but sometimes, when a thread I'm subscribed have a new reply, it don't appears...

But until now, I did assumed that my way of using my browser (having around 30 to 40 tabs opened at once) lead to this, me refreshing the thread before the user panel loading.
I will try to monitor it a bit now...

I will say that I'm more likely to lurk than post of late in the HTML and CSS forums, and that's because the good advice has been given. Hey, that's not a bad thing. My other usual haunts, Website Design and Graphics, I more frequently post in, though the latter of these seems to have been overrun with freebie requests. Now, I don't mind doing the occasional thing for an established member, or for a good cause, but please, all those wanting a band logo, post in the contests section for at least a menial sum!!!
