Hey everyone - I stumbled upon this cool site about a year ago and I realized I should post a link...

www.cavemanscrib.com

This is a weird site where you can cruise around the caveman's apartment before they get ready for a party, and also see the after effects too. It's funny with tons of Easter Eggs found all over the place.

The music playing on the iPod is really cool too!

I remember this site when it first came out. It was only their apartment at the time. It looks like they've added a few things.

I don't know why, but I've always liked the commercials.

Yeah - It has grown since it was first born. I like going to this site and play the music in the background while I do some creative developmental work...

I hadn't realized they were growing the site. I actually watched the first few episodes of the show, but then lost track of it. I'm guessing it didn't last since it's been a long time since I last saw a commercial for it.

I will never forget the images of the "Hairy Family of Burma”. There is also a villigae in mexico the the people are covered with hair. The geico commericials are base on these people. I google searched for the villiage and could not find it.

Personally, I think the whole caveman thing - GEICO's ads and the tv show are just plain stupid. I also don't understand why they need a Cockney accent on a Gecko

The gecko's accent is NOT cockney. That accent is more Liverpool, if anything.

They've been flying planes around Raleigh with a GEICO banner featuring the caveman. The first time I saw it, though, I saw the back side of the banner and I thought to myself, "Who's flying around with a banner of Chez Guevara?"

By the way, the music on the first page is from Royskopp.
http://www.royksopp.com/

But I don't remember the name of the track.
"Remind me" maybe, but I'm not sure...

They must work though due to the fact that we are discussing the commercials in the forums.

You got a point. But I still try to watch less of them. Once I've seen a new one, I won't watch it again.

They used to call them station breaks. I always thought that was when you did things like make popcorn, or go to the bathroom, or run to get something. You know what I mean.

I actually like the commercials, but I have been known to like stupid stuff.

I thought "the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" was a great book.
