Well in a couple of days, I probably won't have the internet or even electricity because the storm path of hurricane fay is heading directly towards my house. I'm going to take some video footage of it and post it on my youtube account.

This one doesn't look too bad, yet. The first year we moved to florida was the year we had katrina and the rest of the crew. We had something like 4 or 5 hurricanes pass over our house. We live just north of tampa, about 5 miles from the gulf coast. Luckily, we are 86 feet above sea level, so I'm not in an evacuation zone until the apocalypse comes.

I'm going out in my wrx to get some video footage of it, because I think the world would like to see it. I'll post what I can here, and if anyone else has pictures and video post'm up before the internet goes out lol.

Hey Michael,
We're a little more north of you and also above sea level so we're not too worried.
I live on the Atlantic side, near St. Augustine. Hopefully, it won't be as bad here.
I'm already stocking up on beer and ice for our hurricane party. (the necessities)

Can't wait to see your pics. If I can, I'll post some too.

I grew up here and have "survived" dozens of hurricanes. That's the thing about
living in FL - we're always ready.

I might take some video as well if things get interesting. I don't really expect more than a lot of rain and maybe some high wind gusts here. I'll be more worried about tornadoes.

That hurricane Katrina was so destructive. something like those is not worth the video. well, you could just set up your camera on a safe spot and then place yourself on a nice warm and safe spot.

no video is worth your life dude.. just stay safe and watch a video on the news when you get your electricity back
