I have been with IXwebhosting for 2 years now or maybe more.

I am runing a big website www.rtgallery.com
The database is huge as I hold a wide veriety of products.
One day my website was down, and it turn out ixwebhosting have desided that my mysql is using to much resources(it is hot I have checked).
My website was down for 3 days and they only put it up is that I told them I will fix the quereis.
I started looking for a new web host after a couple of days downtime, I stumbled on www.bluespacetechnologies.com tried out their silver shared package, so far so good - they had zero complaints about my large mysql database

Final line is, if you are planing on runing a large website or even a medium one stay away from ixwebhosting.com

This is what happens with most hosts that oversell. In the future, if you're really planning to actually utilize the web space and bandwidth that you purchase, you would have to go with a no overselling host.

Thats has to be a bummer. I personally never had the prpblem but I've knpw of others that have had that happen to. I guess there are some hosts out there that don't specify that and some customers who don't read the specs or TOs or whatever it is they say how much can be used

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear about your website. But, what happened to you happens to alot of people. I know it doesn't help your situation. I'm shocked they wouldn't let you know the issue before suspending your website. Thats a really unprofessional approach they have and I'm extremely disappointed in their company for letting that happen. Just like what Andrei155 said I'm sure ALOT of the issue is overselling. I wish you the best of luck on your search for a new website. I never heard of www.bluespacetechnologies.com. I would suggest checking out http://www.webhostingtalk.com and getting more information about this company from individuals such as yourself. This in the end will hopefully say you stress, money and most of all your time.

Wow can't believe this has happened to ya!Sorry to hear a bout your website. its very important when a company 's services seem to good to be true there is definately somethng wrong and its worth checking out all the loop holes
