Just thought I would share a little tip on using Firefox if you don't know about it already. You can do this with either FF2 or FF3. If you've ever wished you could have one button access to all of your sites, you can.

Make sure that your Bookmarks Toolbar is enabled (You can do this by clicking View->Toolbars-Bookmarks Toolbar).
Then, when you reach a page you want to access quickly, drag the favicon (the little icon in the address bar) onto the Bookmarks Toolbar. If it doesn't show up right away, refresh the page. It should show the favicon with part of the website title text.
Then, right-click on the icon in your Bookmarks Toolbar and select Properties. Delete the text in the Name field and your bookmark will now just be the icon. You can order and sort your icons just by dragging them around on the toolbar.

Thanks for the tip - I wasn't aware of it and had to try it immediately. Worked like a charm. This will enable more to fit on my toolbar. My only concern will be remembering which is which...lol. Never mind, tested that out, too, and it shows me the website. Cool!

Mine was turned off until I learned how to do this. I don't have anything on it but the favicons.

Yo , you changed my firefox look with this tip . I do bookmark frequently accessed sites . It is like Bookmarks>bookmark this page>change into bookmarks toolbar . Never thought about deleting the name . Thanks
