well more and more people are having cellphones now .friends, family and even colleagues are always communicating. well just wondering if you can survive without using your cellphone for about a month.

Not really, because I quit using a land line years ago. It would be nice to go without one for a month though, but I don't think the family would appreciate that much.

I hate cell phones... I have a prepaid phone I use for emergencies (mostly in case my bike breaks down! lol), but for the most part I communicate through email or land line. Although right now I am using Skype instead of landline.

I cannot live without my mobile phone, this is the only way I communicate with my wife and daughter. I'm also using my mobile to connect to the internet if there's a problem with my ISP.

Cell phone??!! What's that??!!! I have yet to ever own a cell phone!!

Heck, I rarely ever call people!!! Who needs a phone when you got da internet!!

can't survive without my cellphone. i need it cause this is how my family friends and others communicate they rarely use the net.

Absolutely not! I don't answer my house phone - the people I want to talk to have my cell number. I am texting my hubby & kids all day while I'm at work. I get my email on my cell. I am online on my cell (frequently check in here from it). I edit documents on my cell. I have my calendar on my cell and it synchs with my home computer - there is no way I can keep track of every meeting I am supposed to be in and/or every deadline I am supposed to meet if I didn't always have my calendar with me.

I could not also survive with a cell phone for a month. I usually bring and use it because it's an important accessory for me that I couldn't leave at home.

It's kinda funny .... Kaity got her cell taken away in school yesterday and now she will have to survive without it for the next 10 days. She's going to be very miserable!!

There's this new thing, um... I think it's called a paper and pen!

I don't care for cellphones. Anyone worth talking to, will meet face to face .. everyone over the net wouldn't mind emailing me. I have yet to have a phone conversation longer than like 10 minutes.
