Can you remember the most degrading statement anyone had told you??

The one that moved you to change.

For sure, didn't know what to say at that moment due to emotional outburst...

NOW! What would you reply to that person if ever you had peace of mind at that time?

Rule:
POST THE STATEMENT AND THEN YOUR REPLY...

I think it is good to be honest about your emotions.. but in a tactful way. There is such a thing as being too blunt!

Sometimes when you tell the truth, that person will just say "It's okay" where in fact it's not.. So I just better hide it.

It depends, mostly on the person I need to talk to. If they're in good faith, then sure, I'll tell them my feelings, and I'll do it as gently as I can. Starting with accusations doesn't usually get anyone anywhere. Usually, the person won't have meant offense, and will do something about it.

On the other hand, some people just will not listen, change, or ever admit fault. We've all worked with an idiot before, who does things to offend, but won't stop doing them. Starting a fight and getting nothing out of it seems like a waste of time and effort to me, so, usually, in that case, I'll look for some other way to resolve an issue.
