What are the gas prices where you live? Yesterday hit $4.59 here in South Carolina.

Last time I filled up it was just under 4. That was a week ago though, its moved up a bit since ike hit. I'm in southern california.

Im in central Arizona and I am paying $3,99 for diesel.. Im not sure what gas prices are since I only have two diesel trucks, but I think regular is around $3.40 something...

In Western NY it's about $3.93 - yesterday it was $3.82!

@Sam - My mom & sister live in Prescott Valley - last week it was about $3.50 according to my mom.

why is it if the price of oil in the world increases, all of the oil companies increase their products, if the price of oil in the world market decreases, they don't do nothing,if they do, it will take months or weeks.

I am from India country. Here the price of the gas is very high. It is nearly Rs. 360/. In my opinion, supply and demand are reasons for increasing price of gases. Supply is increasing but not at the rate that it is being demanded.The influences oil prices causes increasing price of gases. The OPEC have no control over the supply and demand. Another reason is people have become spoiled by technology. They misuse the gas for their vehicles. The government should take any action against it.

^^how much is that in dollars exactly? haven't been using my car for the last few weeks and have been doing a lot of alternatives, now that the fuel price has decreased a little, its time to use it again. I noticed that for the past few weeks, there has been a slight decrease in cars and traffic was a bit at ease, with the fuel prices going down a little many must have been using their cars as often as before again maybe

Its called "Petrol" people (short for petroleum!) - Gas is something that you use on the cooker (or stove)

or in certain circles one can "have Gas" which can be relieved by "farting"

^ I have heard that using Petrol as an alternative is not good for drivers' health. The smell is different and can really suffocate people.

I got some relatives in that place and they told me its $1.10/liter. which part of the country do you live anyways? must be the place? my relatives are in Manila

In the UK it's around the $10 a UK gallon mark give or take a bit. You peeps in North America get your petrol/diesel very cheaply compared to us!

Try visiting Dubai or something. I heard that water is more expensive than fuel in those area... drive but dehydrate..

I found a neat website the other day and considering the thread name I thought everyone would enjoy it. The website is called GasBuddy ( http://www.gasbuddy.com/ ) and all you have to do is type in where you live and it will give you the current gas prices along with gas stations. I do not base where I buy my gas on this website. I'm not even sure how accurate it is. I just thought you might find it interesting. Enjoy!

I've actually been a member of that site for more than 3 years. It's as accurate as the information put into it by users.
