I think it's not that love is blind because first of all, love does not even have a brain, how much more eyes. So you see, it's up to the person to decide about his/her feelings.

It's a popular belief that first love never dies.... but for me, it DOES die. Why? It's because it's totally a wrong idea to think that first love never dies but instead, FIRST LOVE NEVER FORGETS.... What do you think?

I choose the one who loves me. Why? It's because it's better to learn how to love the one who loves you than push yourself to continue loving the one you love.... you might get hurt.... But well, that's just my opinion....

I so agree with you about that First love never forgets" thing.. However, I'll still choose the one I love even if I get hurt. It would be easy for me to be unfair to myself rather than be unfair to anyone. It's easy to say that we can learn to love the one who loves us, but not easily.

well nowadays we prefer our eyes to love someone but in serious relationships we should use our brain..

I respect your opinion "kikisukidayo". But we are all different, we have different perception regarding on that issue... Different principles about Love. I agreed in some part of your post... my opinion is: YOu must know how to fight for your love.

You don't choose who you love, or else the whole idea would have no purpose. Love isn't something you pick, choose and shape. It just happens. The beauty of it would fall apart if it were so easy and logical.

I don't believe love is blind, But I do believe that lovers are blind because theres so many people out there who can do anything when it comes to love like my friends best friend he committed suicide because he's girlfriend broke up with him.

Selfishness seeks to manipulate others by stimulating certain selfish emotions. Love will not do this to others, nor will it let it happen to itself.

Well, I don't think love is blind, but people in love can be. I think there's a difference between loving someone and being in love. Loving someone takes kindness, patience, respect, trust. Being in love can just mean being infatuated with someone, and that's very different. I think at some point for love to mature, you do need to make a choice to continue loving that person and continue being kind to them and respect them. Being in love does not ensure those actions, and sometimes people in love are actually blind to what truly loving someone means.
