Julien, as I understand it, you're the only one to move from France to Canada?

It's good that you're reuniting with your family - after such a lengthy time period. My family and I did the same almost a year ago (for the orthodox Easter). We're basically in the same boat, you and I. It's a touching experience.

yeah - I moved from France to Canada. I was in the process of applying for a permanent visa when....well, to cut a long story short, I was in administration's hell and I wasn't allowed to leave the country. I am now a permanent resident and I can come and go as I wish

My dad has a big cellar with lots of very old bottles! Christmas time is definitely something I don't want to miss. Of course, I am very excited to see my family as well....

Where are you from Andrei? Bulgaria if I remember correctly?

Romania, actually. We moved to Canada about 10 years ago, and have only been back every so often.It's nice to see old relatives - especially during the holidays. I hope you enjoy yourself!

I asked in the other thread because I try to remember every day what I'm thankful for, not just around Thanksgiving. But since I didn't answer in the other thread I will here

I am very thankful for my hubby, he's my best friend and the only person I can share anything with (and the only person not related by blood that would put up with me for 18 years!)

I am thankful for my kids. Most members have gotten to know my kids a little bit at least. It has been a gift for me to watch them grow and develop into individuals with their own tastes, beliefs, morals and talents. DarkLink is preparing to move out on his own - it's a blessing and a curse. It's time for him to be on his own, but it's hard as a mom to let go. Kaity is growing into a beautiful, strong and independent young lady. I am very proud of both of them.

I am thankful for my extended family. They have been the constant in my life, the ones I could always turn to when I needed help. Not just those related by blood, but those that are related by heart too.

I am thankful that I have a job that pays my bills and puts food on the table and I enjoy too. There have been years that I wasn't sure we would have a roof over our heads much less a Thanksgiving dinner.

I am thankful for WT for helping me to learn more, letting me share the knowledge that I have and making friends along the way.

There's more, but I think that's enough for now

lol Learning Newbie you made me think that you were also a member of V7n cause there's a thread like this on that forum,

well im thankful for everything that has happened to my life, i am very thankful for having a very wonderful little daugther, great friends, homeboys, and WMT family.

First and foremost, I Thank God for every blessing he has given me..
I'm thankful for having the best and most supportive family in this world.
I'm thankful too of my pets that give me smiles and laughter ( hope my cats will come back).
I'm thankful for having friends whose always there.
