It's saturday night, I had a good day, although I was working until lunch time. Only got back on the keyboard about an hour ago.

Saturday night seems a good night for systems administration and other I.T. work, particularly web-based (when the rest of the world is out drinking, it's safer to work on stuff, perhaps, but just a little).

I think that during christmas season this year a LOT of entrepreneurs will be working, particularly internet ones.

But with some people saying that 50% of Britain's GDP will come from entrepreneurs soon enough, they ought to be thanking us for working so hard instead of comparing us to scrooge or anything shallow like that!

I mean, what's shallower, raising the country's living standards or watching rubbish tv and overeating?

It certainly is!
Nobody whinging about email not working even though they have had at least 3 messages to say their email may be disrupted for a few hours on [insert date] while we are moving and upgrading servers.

They'd be whinging even if the email wasn't disrupted. They think I.T. people are agony aunts or something.

Tis true... time waits for no one. That's a funky tune, sounds a bit like the beginning music when, in the blues brothers, the blues brothers band starts playing an intro prior to the big show.

Which leads us nicely to the point - if you have to save the nun, you have only half a pack of cigarettes, a single tank of gas, it's dark and you're wearing sunglasses... you only have so much time to cover the 106 miles to Chicago!

It IS the tune from the blues brothers right? I mean it does sound 100% the same.

Wow, and half way through the file is a second tune - match of the day. Nice!

oh my.. We have work on Saturday but I've decided to take a leave for I'll attend as a bridesmaid for a special friend's wedding.
