Who all use a blackberry here? I recently got a new Bold after being out of the scene for few months now. Couldn't really stay away from BB.

Anyways was wondering if the one's using would be willing to share their Pin here with other memebers to be added as BB Messenger Buddies and can get in touch with each other for networking and stuff.

Ill start.

Knowledge Areas : Networking, Network Design, Media Production (audio and Video - using adobe premier, Propellerhead Reason etc), Computer Hardware, Wan, VPN etc.

Hopefully we can get this rolling and get to meet new people with new skill set that are willing to help each other.

personally i think blackberrys are whored and overrated. i wouldnt get one for the mere fact that too many people i know already have one, and i like to be different from the crowd thx.

I could use one of those. It would be nice to answer some support emails INSTANTLY! (outside of sitting at my desk, very alert).

I would've went for the Storm. What gives?

well i dont use blackberry but i think you can use the internet in order for you to chat with some one else

Everyone to their own. If it works like this for you then good. Some of us have their work depending on them and is quite beneficial and essential for business.

I have always been a fan of keyboard since the first bb i owned which was an 8700g. I played witha storm but didnt like it that much. THe feeling wasnt the same. I would suggest going into your carrier shop and playing with one before deciding on anything. DO have a look at Bold if you are not too big on media etc. I already got an ipod touch which i use for media etc so bold was the best choice for me.

Yeah, we can do that aswell but cant be online or sitting infront of the computer all the time. Also in my country we dont have dataplan and stuff like that so using internet on a normal phone other then a BB would get quite expensive. Beside its much easier to just msg or have an instant message conversation from anywhere to get some help.

Just some ideas. i am sure people who use them can tell you more how and why they use one.

nope, eeepc for me.
Never tried a BB, but Palm and windows mobile smartphones and PDA.
Windows mobile is really to avoid, by the way.
When I had my GPS on it, I had to relink the bluetooth GPS module 2 times a week average.
I never liked them much.

The eeepc is all that I need. Light, versatile, around 4 hours of continuous work on battery (more than enough when commuting), with a real keyboard and a lot of connectivity.
