And for anyone else who just isn't as good at dressing up their 'acted' forum posts (that's not the same as spam - ANYONE can be a girlsaloud fan and have opinions, just because I only became one whilst using their forum doesn't make my opinions on it spam!)
A parting gift. (Yep, I'm listening to Dirty Day still... somehow I got the song right, half the plot wrong and just fought it out until I got what I wanted and the battle is cowing well over).
The gift: I have put away my spreadsheet, I have closed down my "qassam 10,000", I have deleted "work like slave" from my schedule, and I'm going back into retirement! There's ALWAYS a better way than working like a slave. The only times we really feel right in doing it is when we really need to - when something far more important than our own body and mind rears up and drives us to go out of our way to get something done. Like the nun and the 106 miles to chicago.
I hope that you (JV17 and others) can put your spreadsheets away one day too. And until then, I hope you get what you need. Usually people like us are driven by extreme need.
I still have all those tools, ready for a worse day. But today, finally, is a better one. Finally. And in the end it was only my brain, nothing more, that had to come up with the answer. ALL that hard labour was just a catalyst, helping me to have a good reason to use my brain.
