This is going to be an interesting thread. How many of you guys consider yourselves ambitious, determined, and highly motivated as far as becoming successful? How far would you or are you willing to go to reach you goals in life? I know a lot will answer and say that they are go-getters, but there are only a few that truly fit within the category.

I know I'm a go-getter because the past few months have been hectic for me up til now. Just to keep it brief, I taught myself how to market online, build a website, and overcome the failure that most people experience when they get involed with online business opportunites. I didn't have a mentor, nor anyone to call. All I had were my prayers, my computer, and my ambition which drove me towards the success I'm having online.

Now, you briefly explain what makes you a go-getter, if you consider yourself to be one

The opporsite to this, is why I class myself as a go-getter from a young age.

I too am self thought, I wanted to learn PHP so I contacted a PHP Developer on a community I was in which pointed me to some good resources of which helped me learn, followed by quick regular support via MSN when I was learning. (Interestingly, I do the same now to a friend I met on-line).

When I came to start my own flash game website, I was ambitious and had more games, better organised with more innovative features than my armature competitors. This gave me the upper hand to contact my closest competitors to build a contact list.

All I have mentioned is building my inbound links and contact list to maintain those links, content, ideas and suggestions. Web Go-Getter in my opinion.

Later my determination in PHP Coding got me noticed by friends and family which got me my first 3rd party website development. Since then working hard to improve said skills, and have approached companies some successfully sold services.

Do I qualify as being Go-Getter?

I think I have moments where I am both. Brief periods where I am very ambitious and then times where I want to just give up. In the end I simply persevere but it ain't easy!

Everyone in the online business is a go getter, however some are not ambitious enough to motivate themselves to be more successful than the others.

I consider my self a go getter, well at some things, like developing sites, making money, I am always up to that. I never quit when it comes too it, and I always work with what I have. Cause im a paper chaser lol

Now why I say at some things, there is a thing i am a go quitter at and that is....drum roll please.....School, I seriously hate school, some parts are good. Like english, and other classes, but some classes are so boring and waste of time. When I do homework and projects I always find my self quitting.

But overall a go getter, I always get the job done
