Oh my - one day I thought to myself, I should create websites! This is going to be GREAT! Maybe I'll make money and become a super genius. Turns out, I'M HORRIBLE at all of this. I own a crazy amount of domain names because I get inspired to build sites... and then don't. My sites are all doing poorly because I don't know what I am doing. I'm so frustrated! The sad thing is that I have been doing this for about two years and although my knowledge is expanding, my websites... not so much. I don't know how you guys do it. I keep trying to bury my laptop in the backyard, but the dog keeps digging it up. Haha.

The dog knows. Stick with the sites. They're good. Just try harder!
here's a tip
search on google for
site:everybodysbestfriend.com
and you'll see 20 pages listed

Now if you have it in you to gradually make about 500 really high quality pages about dogs, you'll get em all listed and you'll get daily traffic from across that 500, very certainly.

So suck it up, and just do more of the same. Your content is obviously good.

"Suck it up"... I think that's the best advice I have had to date! Actually... it's exactly what I needed to hear Haha. THANKS!

I tell my husband and friends about this kind of stuff but their eyes just glaze over it's good to get motivational advice from those who have "been there done that"

Hey, what are fellow humans for, if not to help each other?

On the website where you compare hosting I think you should like centre align it because at the moment I'm scrolling sideways... Things are a bit all over the place but that can be sorted out easily I guess...

Beautiful website Becky, don't be discouraged! I have been where you are at many many times over the years.

The dog certainly isn't going to let you throw in the towel either!

I think at times all Webmasters/Webmistresses would like to quit and find another career.

I used to be the same way as you, what you need to do is just have more confidence in your self. Just make a plan or write down what your site is going to be about, the layout, content, etc, then once all that is ready build the site. If you like it buy the domain if not cut it off, your cluttering your self with so much work.

The dog site you have is nice keep it up.
Just dont ever give up

Dont be discouraged - its a staged process. What you have at the minute is V1 both in terms of knowledge and website/coding/graphical ability, in a couple of months you will revamp, rebuild, change and learn a bit more and then look back and think "wow look what I did this time".

My current website is now in its third draft and it has evolved hugely in the past few months.

Stick at it, and make sure you always work on your next site version in the background, always keep developing, then launch using your enhanced marketing skills.

Good luck.
