I live in London... you'd have a hard time narrowing it down. We're famous for greed, chauvinism, supporting genocide, and also I suspect this is the city where Kylie made her first record deal! Doctor who loves this place. The Queen lives here. It has its good and bad side. Right now the bad are suffering - you should see London - you can cut the tension in the air with a knife. The rich are really getting kicked in the ghoulies. This is indeed the epicentre of judgement day. Trust me - all you people living in babylon but outside the epicentre, when what's happening in London catches up with you, you'll suddenly see where I've been coming from.
The crash started here and in New York first. The whole rich district in canary wharf where 100s of 1000s of rich slaves were positioned has drained of tenants and workers - I can get a flat there for 25% of the price it was going for a year ago! 25%!!!! It's like a routing of daleks, really - the daleks are all fleeing. Dunno where they came from, but thank the god of london they're going back.

Rouen...but don't expect me to pronounce it.
Buffalo is famous for chicken wings, pizza, the Buffalo Bills, the Buffalo Sabres and our winters. We are also right next to Niagara Falls.

I grew up in Joshua Tree, CA, which besides having the same name as the U2 album, is the home of world famous artist Bev Doolittle. It's also got one of the best natural rock climbing paradises in the world right in its back-yard.

Zarorozhskaya Sich
The name Cossack capital - Сѣчъ derived from the word Ŧсѣктиŧ, Ŧвысѣкатьŧ, near the intended location for Сѣчи trees and shrubs, clearing a place for arranging troops. Letter ѣ (ять) in Ukrainian pronounced Ŧandŧ, in Russian as Ŧeŧ, so when in 1918 the letter ять was removed from the alphabet, the Сѣчъ in Russian became Sich (even earlier, at Sc. correcting spelling the end has been replaced by er er), the Ukrainian Sich (pronounced SICH).
Sich was a military fortification, inside of which stood a church, farm buildings and accommodation - smoking. Later the word was transformed into the concept of total capital of Zaporizhzhya Cossacks, the center of activity and management of all military affairs, the residence of all the principal officers who stood at the head of the grassroots Cossacks.
Often, the word ŦSichŧ use the word ŦKoshŧ and troops Zaporizke sometimes called Zaporizhiyan Cochemé. This word Tartar origin and means the temporary premises at the time of movement. cossacks, using the word ŦSichŧ, implied a permanent capital of troops, as implied by the word Kosh parked troops during the campaigns, that is a temporary rate. Hence the signature on the letters ŦDan in Koshu Zaporizhzhya Sichŧ, ie Zaporizhya Sich, ŦDan with Kosh at Bougerŧ - that is, the temporary camp at Bouger.

Famous for the wrong thing.
On June 7, 1998 James Byrd, Jr. accepted a ride from 3 men, who later beat him up, tied him to the back of a truck and drug him to death.

General custard also camped next to Sandy Creek that flows through this town.
Jim Bowie passed through here on the way to the Alamo. He also freed his slaves just north of town. He figured that he was going to die at the alamo, so he gave his slaves their freedom.

My hometown (where I grew up, not currently living) is also famous for having incredible wildlife, including the endangered Desert Tortoise, and the endangered Desert Bighorn Sheep.

In his autobiography 'The moon's a Balloon' David Niven says he spent part of his childhood living at Rose Cottage, Bembridge. There are so many other famous people that come from the Isle of Wight and many Hotels have taken their names such as the Queen Victoria Hotel and King Charles I
