yea! check out the review of my band's (3 second memory) last gig (friday)...

As the sun set in the not so shiny Mottingham, SEVEN:FORTYSEVEN decided to attack the stage (quite literally) and, my word, what a start to the night! Getting the crowd going with their short but sweet set, Joe, Samir, George and Max set a high standard for the other acts to follow. And for their first gig, I personally was blown away, especially by Joe’s stage presence…you go boy!

Targeting the standard set by SEVEN:FORTYSEVEN and then proceeding to send it into space were 3 SECOND MEMORY.

These boys have talent.

Dressed in matching t-shirts (except for Sharavanan – way to let the side down) it was obvious that things were only gonna get better. 3 SECOND MEMORY were joined by Davo, King Of Bass, for a few songs and thereby formed some sorta super group. As it was the first time I’d seen 3 SECOND MEMORY, I dunno what their popular songs are, but judging by the crowd’s response I think all of them will be hits! Just to top it off of course, every member of the band has a gorgeously super-smooth voice…Gabriel and Shara’s harmonising was fantastic and to pick out one song where Trevor’s voice sounded best would be unfair on the others.

Trev – You’re a guitar god and you rock Ben – You’re a guitar king and you’re almost as bad at pool as me Gabriel – Wear the orange trousers more… Sharavanan – A dancing drummer…what more can I say other than 3 SECOND MEMORY rule-full stop.

thanks

actually the recording of the gig sounds really good, i just heard it today on minidisc - last time we tried but it was all too loud for the recording equiopment to take and it sounded terrible. this time we changed how we recorded it and you can actually make out music! Our version of ghostbusters was my highlight

I've been meaning to get mp3s up for AGES now, I have some webspace so I'll try to get some up... so then everyone can hear us! once the live minidisc is converted to mp3 or wma i'll put them up... ill post here oince there's stuff available

actually that reminds me - there are some ppl who asked me to send stuff and i forgot oops! like Wizard - if you're reading this i will send you a song asap, sorry!

i won't forget you hahaha!
yeah ok ghettomars but I don't have the minidisc at the mo, the drummer does, and apparantly it takes a while to convert them to mp3s (you have to split the songs up etc) but i'll have it by monday he says... you'll have to live in suspense till then

Boy I miss those days. In high school I lived on Cape Cod in Mass. I made tye-dye t-shirts for a local punk rock band - Tripp Lullaby. It was great fun and not bad money either
