Hey.

I am now in a prosses of writing a web-site for a privat person who entends on using it for his bussines perpuses. I am pretty clear on what he whants but the problemm i now meet is that he/she is planning on upgrading it pretty often (3-4 times a week) and realy doesnt know anything about HTML.

Is there any of you guys who made website posible to edit in some kind of easy WYSIWYG prog, so that ppl can upgrade news and maybe publish some photos?

Why dont you use a content management system like wordpress? Then show your customer how to log into the site and post a new article.

Trying to teach a non-tech about html, ftp, uploadin, editing files would be a lot harder then saying "click there, write what you want, and then click the submit button."

If the customer is posting 3 - 4 articles a week, then a static site is not the way you want to go anyway.

It sounds like a CMS is going to be the best choice for your needs. And your customer will probably be much happier.

Create includes for the text, and just have one file dedicated to the text in let's say a div. That way, your client just has to edit the text, rather than cutting through the html mumbo-jumbo.
