UFO's Anyone?

Has anyone ever seen any UFO'S in their lifetime? I sure haven't but I tend to believe they're sporadically located all over the earth. Lot's of people claim they seen UFO'S and I am leaning towards that belief. What does everyone else believe about this topic?
Note: I don't believe they ( aliens -- The UFO kind, not the 'illegal alien' kind ) created humans though, at least not yet.

I've never seen any reason I should believe there are aliens from another planet flying around. If they exist, I highly doubt they originate from anywhere other than planet Earth.

I'd have to agree, if they're here on earth, I'd say that's where they originated. But who REALLY knows where they are from and why they are here.

There is definitely a lot of interesting speculation around the subject, and it seems that there is definitely an unexplained phenomena that we usually call UFOs. It does bother me that most UFO weirdos seem to automatically assume that it is aliens from another planet, however.

i believe that life has to exist on another planet somewhere else in the universe. the universe is just too large for not one other planet to have achieved an environment capable of sustaining life. but chances are that they are no more than slime on a rock at this point. or they have lived for ages and were destroyed by meteor/explodin sun/global warming (lol). or that they are so far away that they havent found us. the chances that they have come, against all odds from a very very long way away, just to appear to some drunk redneck in the middle of a field, well, i'm gonna stick with the exploding swamp gas explanation for now...

I actually live in a UFO hotspot in the UK.
I have seen a UFO during a summer night a few years back. Me and a few friends were coming back from the cinema and I pulled over to let my friend out for a smoke. Just when he was about to get back into the car, we all saw two lights flying in perfect sync with a tube connecting the two lights together. I would say the two light were at least 1/4 mile apart from each so would have been too big for an aircraft.
Anyway we followed them down the road for a mile until it went behind a cloud and disappeared.
Whether it was an alien, I'm not sure.

I watch a full show on how you don't see them in the sky anymore. They are traveling a some crazy fast speeds in the ocean. Think about it. You can go anywhere in the world. The ships or UFO's have been spotted by navy submarines going faster, deeper and moving in ways no animial known to man kind.
Not that I am now a believer and Holloywood does have good actors. But it was a good watch.

Yeah, the UK seems to have had a lot of recent sightings. You probably already know this, but the UK recently released public records of UFO sightings: http://ufos.nationalarchives.gov.uk/
I read an press release about this though, and it seems like even though they are releasing "secret" information, they deny that there is any real extraterrestrial presence.

I want to believe...
Never seen one myself though. I'd love too, and one day would like to tour the hotspots and see if I can see any. My half-sister used to live near to Area 51 and reckons she saw some cool things in the sky there...

me and a couple of my cousins saw one a long time ago... well it was a flashing light of sorts that definitely wasn't from an airplane as it traveled impossibly fast and in a random fashion until disappeared right in front of our eyes... still, i dunno if could consider myself a 'believer' or not (of aliens but it should be a ufo since we have no idea what that bright light was)... but there were three of us who witnessed it so...

As a Christian I don't believe there is life anywhere else in the universe and that is what makes us so unique. Of course I can't proove there isn't but then I can't proove there is either.
Everything you have seen and heard and read is a hoax

Um, what does believing all that have to do with being a Christian? Speaking as a Christian, a Southern Baptist for that matter, last I checked, the basic tenets had nothing to do with believing ourselves alone in the universe. Even the Catholic church finally rescinded its claim of the Earth being the center of the universe.
UFOs are just one of those phenomena that neither science nor religion dare touch, for fear of losing credibility. In the case of religion it's more like so they don't look like the drink-the-kool-aid-to-go-meet-the-space-aliens types. I don't know what, in the absence of anything credible, for or against, to think.

Unidentified Flying Objects, Ok I might be a little slow but if you can't identify them how the heck do you know what they are?
Has anyone seen the movie KNOWING..............? Could it be GOD is the very thing we are discussing? watch the movie.

Making asinine statements like that makes me want to kick a puppy!
I'm with Tim on this matter. Whatever denomination your religion is shouldn't matter whether or not you believe life exists outside of this planet.
IN MY OPINION...only a complete moron would assume that this is the only planet to have life out of the countless galaxies of planets in the universe that we know. I have yet to hear a valid, plausible excuse as to why God created the rest of the universe for. Is it a sandbox for "testing purposes"??? Are we an alpha version of some future Earth_2.0??? I really would like to hear somebody's explanation for why there is a vast, infinite universe out there?
I'm sure that some religious zealot will accommodate me with more pointless babble about why this planet is the ONLY rock with life...or will I get more idiotic sig pimps like the one above me? Hmmm...

It's not that I don't believe in UFOs... but the whole idea of anthromorphic extraterrestrials sounds absurd to me. I mean... really? Earth is the only planet in the solar system inhabited with creatures like us. We're a 25.000 year-old species. Isn't it a bit absurd that extraterrestrial lifeforms look like us? Billions of years of existence, and the only life forms capable of space travel spawning from other planets look like us? Please.
