Anyone care to shed some light on this subject? I have been away from web design for a few years and haven't been actively designing anything big. What do you recommend in regards to making profit. I definitely want to stay away from web-hosting (hosting other websites). However, I don't mind other services as long as there is something to make from it. I don't want to pull anyone's leg, like in web hosting for example, you get people to sign up for a free account, then after you get them to sign up they complain about a feature here or a feature there that they need to pay for that is not available in a free-hosting account. I don't want that kind of business, I'd rather give them what they pay for up front.
Note: Forget about E-bay, or other shared services as I had my experiences with them in the past and didn't enjoy it much at all. Especially with my past experience, I feel I would be better suited to develop my own site of some sort, but I am baffled as to what I should develop.
