The work I do, where I either (a) do data cleaning on my site, adding and improving the data there which people use each day for helping them research certain matters (involving buying) or (b) go through affiliate networks adding more links from the networks to my site,
has been minting it - traffic boomed and roared only 3 weeks after I sat down to do this work
before that I spent 2 to 3 months working for separate members of my family, working like a dog - and they wasted my work - they screwed it up and wasted my time and money
and so now that I have settled down to the work that actually profits, and is all my own business, I have run out of cash and am screwed for a few weeks - I didn't put the effort into that when I should - I focused on all these brick and mortar idiots and their silly pre-internet ideas
and it is they who refuse to encourage or allow me to do this work which is actually profitable and proven to be so (lots and lots of financial evidence)
so I am stuck for 3 weeks with virtually no resources to work with (mainly beer, I mean what else do you really need, when you're working hard and doing well?)
which means a massive slowdown in labour - but it's only 3 weeks, so who cares, and after that I may only have 2 or 3 more periods of 3 weeks, over coming months, in which I "can't" get enough work done because I have no beer.
it's so sad. that's life, though. no point getting annoyed at its farcical nature.
at least I'm doing alright on the front of the heart and soul. 3 weeks off work will be good for me. although it'd be better if there was beer! but then I wouldn't be taking the time off, I'd just be working from morning to night, as usual.
