Before I launch into the meat, I should say it took 10 minutes to be able to access webmaster-talk due to the erratic nature of my building's internet connection at the moment, but meanwhile I was able to access sites with a much smaller memory-footprint, like Google, all of my sites, but not facebook, which has the same size footprint as w-t. Myspace is about 20 x facebook. So beware the memory footprints you make or use.
Today is a lovely day, even while the bandwidth is too low to load W-t and a lot of other pages, I can still readily access my commandline, since such processes are very low memory - and as usual, as has been the case for now over 40 days, I can log in and watch the bespoke tracking system I've built and see traffic coming to me from google, heading outward through facets of my site and its valuable information, off again to paying clients. It's just nice to be able to log in and watch it all in an excellent fast-moving state.
Soon I buy football team.
{Note to w-t's owners... at 6000th in the alexa rankings, with your scale of traffic, that memory footprint multiplies out rather massively. perhaps you should hire developers to show you how to remove it}
