What does everyone listen to while working / not working?

I listen to Trance/ techno while doing design / systems work

Rock/pop any other time

I like a good bit of techno whilst I'm working too. But I also like metal and rock as well. Anything hard and fast helps get me motivated...

The rest of the time, pre 1950 blues, grunge and alt rock, trip hop...

I never used to like the techno/trance type music until I got into IT. A guy I used to work with turned me onto it, listened to it ever since. The thing I like is you don't have to keep changing the station/song and the beats keep you moving. I can think much better listening to it.

I like all kinds of music.
Rock, Rap, Country, Techno, Classical, and some blues.
But the latest band of interest is a german rock band called Oomph!
Haven't been able to get enough of them.

It depends in your mode. for me if i want to sleep ill play a classical music. If i want to be alert and to avoid dizziness ill play rock music

well for me I listen to any type of music as long as the sound is right ... while at work I listen mostly to a lot of anime OST when I'm in the groove to work.

I listen to Yahoo! LaunchCast. I set the station to 90's Alternative Rock and listen to the music I grew up with, to my heart's content.
