Oops I mean't attitude. Sometimes I get to talking and look at the message later and say what @>>&0#* wrote that! As one of Decembers' children, we only open our mouths to exchange feet. We never mean to offend anyone, it just happens. There are no gears between the brain and mouth to take back the words that come out. They are not necessarily what we actually believe but a freeformed thought not shaped yet. Apologies are made in advance. If we were forced to become diplomats, war would start, and it wouldn't be deliberate. Anyway try not to read to hard into what I write as long as some kind of story or message comes across. The insult isn't personal! Dragonladyd
PS I'm sure I can insult practically everone without meaning to. It's a gift! I'll get better as I go along.

You'll get better at insulting?

I'm just kidding with you.

IMO, the key is thinking before I post. Or sometimes, reading the reply several times before I hit the submit button. And, remember that you can always edit the post later.

One of my favorite sayings, "I won't say anything that I can't change or take back!"

Question? Do you really get BETTER or WORSE in the art of insults and which is best? Love the duct tape, not to mention all of the wonderful colors it comes in. You can hem your pants with it and it goes through the wash once or twice (no hot water). You can use it for automotive repairs, like holding your radiator together or replacing a fan belt, or it can make your shoes last another month. I don't think I'll ever be quite as good at the insults as someone we know, but I think its a plus. I guess the shorter the message, the less chance we have of screwing it up. Electronic kisses coming your way! Dragonladyd

I think it takes a certain sense of humor to really insult someone. The best insults whip a person to the ground, but keep him wondering what happened all the while. It is an art form and like all art forms, practice makes perfect. I have a smart mouth, but don't have the knack of a high class insult. Thus endeth the lesson for today.

Hey Chuck, never confuse a common insulter with a good cynic (did I spell that right?) Ambrose Bierce was one of my favorites. He said "One can never fall into a womans' arms without falling into her hands". There is also the art of NOT calling somebody something as in I would have said that so and so . . . , but I know better. And so you've only insulted them obliquely and can excuse it as a really bad stray thought. Speaking of strays, I'll wander off while I'm ahead. Dragonladyd
