Dutch artist Han van Meegeren was so belittled by art critics, that he could not exhibit any longer. He decided to avenge. He painted several pictures and passed them as newly discovered works of 17th century Dutch artist Jan Vermeer van Delft. The pictures were soon recognized as masterpieces and sold for equivalent of millions of dollars in today's money. Art ctritics could not tell the artist they ridiculed from a known genius. And what about you? Can you tell Vermeer from Meegeren?

I am not familiar with either artist Mikhail, so I didn't take the quiz, there's no way I could tell who's who. All beautiful paintings though. The name Delft came up and am very familiar with the name, I have several Delft jewelry pieces.

I couldn't describe the difference. Seems they are made by only one artist. Either of them... Just got 30% of the right answer

I'm not also familiar with this paint. But being curios, I search meegeren masterpiece in Google. I find Meegeren paint good.
