I never quite understand the "carpe diem" thing. What is that? A polite way to refuse to be mature? How can you live in a carpe diem mode? We always have someone to look for... or deadlines to something... or projects that we want to start or, perhaps,end...

Carpe Diem such... There... I'm tired of the Carpe and of the Diem too!!

I know the feeling Kaity... it's 24/7 for me at the moment. I've got a company iPhone, which is very cool, but it means that people are on my case all the time. Quite literally - I had a phone call from one client at midnight last night. That's Sunday night!!!

The secret is to make the most of the time you have solely for you - find something you love and just do it whenever you get the chance, otherwise it'll get to you too much. Good luck!

Fortunatelly, even iPhone can be turned off

I'm still chasing my debts. I'm getting more and more confused - in Poland I had a time for everything-- I stuck in this stupor mode:: WORK-HOME-WORK-HOME-. . . .
There was time to read books, to write a blog, play RPG with friends... Now it's getting more challenging - there's no time to being free; there's always someone wanting something from you. We might call it 'adulthood', but I'm in my bloody thirties, for crying out loud! I'm already in "ADULT" form!

I think I'm going back to my blog, anyway (in Polish, if read in that language), there's still need to express myself in writing, who knows, what comes up?

If you feelin' down I know a remedy-- just downloaded from iTunes the latest song from The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition; this tune's after me for last few days, and it's being played over-and-over-and-over again for last two days... Absolute genius!

me too...(a little down)

I hurt my hip in jrotc...

We ran laps around the school (outside). Bad idea.me too...

I went to the nurse to get meds and an elevator pass.... She asks me level of pain, where, blah blah blah... gives another nurse the paper she filled out, then tells me this woman will be with me in a min... so I'm sitting there.....and sitting there........................................AND SITTING THERE.....................and STILL there....................as I'm sitting there- the woman that is suposed to give me some Motrin is over there eatin cany bars, talking...then fills out a form, walk out the room, come back, get a cup of water and another candy bar, talk again, watch this guy fix the shade while eatin her 2nd candy bar, then sit back down and go on the computer....jus leisurely doing all of this, like she had not a care in the world, nothing better to do...... I'm jus sitting there with a "what the ****" kind of expression on my face... Me personally would have exploded by the time she picked up the first candy bar... But my hip really hurts so I sat there patiently.....trying to stay calm..... 5mins after she sat down at the computer I used the wall n chair next to me to get up and walked out the room... I went there at 10:25 originally.....then left at 11:11, went to the office and complained... Got my elevator pass! BUT now what do I do when i have to run another two laps around the school later...?

Very frustrated right now. Ex gf is giving me grief, got a huge outstanding phone bill and pay day isn't til next week... Being an adult sucks sometimes...

I spent last Friday guarding a condo lobby in which Christmas music was piped in continuously. Doesn't that violate the Helsinki Convention regarding treatment of prisoners? I vowed at that point that I would create my own Twisted Christmas album in protest. Doing rather nicely with it too.
