I was thinking it might be a good idea if there were such a website where one could lookup information such as the instruction manuals for old outdated electronic equipment they have laying around the house. Lot's of people lose their manuals for old out-dated hardware.

Ex: I have an old sony vcr, but don't have the manual on how to program the darn thing.

Might be a good idea to put the manuals in pdf format so one can look at while online so one can program my device. Or even better, on the same topic, how about one of those All-For-One remotes for the tv and you need the codes to get it to work?I bet you can find that somewhere online, but a 'Super site' for that kind of stuff might be great. If it's all in one location (one gigantic website), it might be worth paying for the information. I'm talking about a huge site though...For lot's and lot's and LOT'S of different things. Things some of us might have forgotten about, since we are so in tuned to our iPods, iPhones, etc..etc.. It might have an interesting clash.

Hope that brings in some ideas.

chris, it's amazing to find that there's a website for just about everything! All I can say is these people must have had these sites created already, and just put their index.html page in the servers root yesterday...I never new these places existed!

If I hadn't changed computers/browsers so many times over the years I would have probably been able to post a few more, some are/were more specialist though.
