Yeasterday my wonderful, beautiful daughter was diagnosed with swine flu. The major problem is that she has a history of breathing problems. That's the serious part. If she gets pnemonia she will die. I really need all the prayers I can get for my family, my baby girl, and I. I love you guys ya'll are like my extended family. Please keep us in your prayers. I will be devistated if I lose her.

Hey dont be stressed instead be clear ... take care of her to the max ... i will pray for her and surely tell all my spirtual and religious friends to do the same ... just stop crying ur wasting energy you need to take care of her ...

The most important thing is not to get depressed; the positive thinking is the key. I know what I'm saying, 'cause I've been there - two years ago my wife's been diagnosed with cancer. We never gave up, and it's all clear now!

And, forgive the audacity, but I'd like to offer some advice: Never worry about the future -- I heard someone calling that "pre-worrying" before -- it just adds stress and takes away from the quality of life you're living now. So, focus on the beauty of the now, the positive, the best that you can make each moment. Doing so helps to make the future less ominous and enriches the "now", but it also leaves everylasting memories of the great times you had... which you'll be able to recall with your daughter when you're old and gray.

Thank you to everyone!!!
Her fever has been like a roller coaster. It has spiked to 102.8. She has had to take her inhaler to breathe a few times. She's on Tamiflu, Tylenol, and Motrin. I will let you know later what's going on.

Be strong Steph! Your daughter will recover from it. I know you're in a holler coaster ride at the moment but it'll end spinning soon and your life will be back to normal.

I am sending my Best Get Well Wishes Steph for your little daughter! Quite frankly I am a bit overwhelmed and at a loss for words, it's something to hear about someone you don't know on the news with the Swine Flu, but to hear about someone you do know is quite a different story.
