I'm just curious what holiday traditions your family has.

On Thanksgiving my family gets together and everyone is assigned a dish to bring. I'm assigned 3. Sweet potatoes, greenbean casserole, and mashed potatoes.

At Christmas my mom, dad, daughter and I wake up early and open gifts and have a family breakfast. Then we do the turkey dinner thing all over again but just with the 4 of us.

Please share. I think it's interesting how people celebrate in different ways.

Every year we set up tent poles to suspend a frozen turkey over a turkey fryer in the middle of a field, then let it go from a distance to watch the whole thing go BOOOOOOM!!! Yeaaaaaah, boyyyyeee!!! Fireworks at Thanksgiving!!! Last year that turkey wound up in the next county! Well, what was left of it did.

Spreading the redneck holiday cheer,

tim

I never really had any traditions, other than eating a lot and sleeping.

My family hasn't celebrated anything together for years, other than a couple of weddings. So, as you can guess, we have no traditions...

My daughter birthday being the 22 of december, it's he time to throw a party for the kids of the neighborhoud.
Then, for christmas, it's mostly a meal with my sisters, and my mom if we go to my family, or a couple of days hollidays by my wife family.

Other than that, nothing special.
