I've found a new feature that's even better than the logout button:

"delete account"

I agree with ed, the delete feature is the best, or any feature that makes it where i do not have to use it.

I couldn't agree with you more, however, quite awhile back I deleted the account, Facebook sent an email saying all I did was deactivate the account and I could reactivate the account whenever I wanted to. My thoughts are once you delete anything you delete, wiped clean, gone forever!

I don't like facebook for me it's just not that interesting and a waste of time.

Facebook never actually delete any accounts, I imagine their databases are far too complicated to risk messing it up.

If you want to remove yourself, best thing is to go through your profile and delete all your personal info, replace it with garbage, then deactivate your account.

Yikes what a bunch of baloney Ed! That's ridiculous! I shall take your advice though Ed, see what I can do, I know I took everything off, although there wasn't really anything there, except my picture and I took that down the first thing. Thanks Ed for your advice, I am just disgusted, when you delete something that should be it, oh well......
