Oh for f**ks sake, bloody political correctness again. Humans have been skinning and eating animals for tens of thousands of years.

So someone skinned, cooked and ate a rat on the telly, wow big deal. Or is this a publicity stunt for a medioacre TV show that's not attracting a big enough audience for advertisers?

A possible 3 years in prison for killing a rat??? I realize the charge is animal cruelty, but...
The penalty for killing an endangered species in the U.S. is only 1 year in prison.

I think the charge is "killing an animal for a performence".

Just don't film and you can kill all the rats you want to.

It say's in the article that they were required to have animal welfare officers on the set when animals were involved.

The people who made the show probably knew that the animal welfare officers would not have let them killed an animal on camera, they probably did not have them their so that they could kill the rat on camera and not get in trouble.

I read about that, pretty daft. But then, the laws are there for a reason. Imagine if they'd done a cat or dog?

Where is the difference between lambs, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, squirrel etc etc?
