Is it possible to override a password for the login on Windows XP? Or on a wireless network?

I do not know why I want to know this, I suppose I am just "curious".

yes there are a number of software available to do this also there are a number of boot disks which you can use to do it as well

in the movies hackers do it by typing frantically at the keyboard to magically "unlock" the machine... or they look around on the desk and find a meaningful item and take a stab in the dark. Try those, you're bound to succeed.
